Ah we think alike. I just did that. But I have to transfer each file separate. When I transferred the entire photos file/library the same thing happened. Very frustrating.

I hope the tech can help. Is there a way to make a desktop shortcut to the picture library? I think I had a problem figuring that out in Windows 7 and ended up just saving my pics always to folders on my desktop.
When I scan things, I can't find the folder and it doesn't show in "recent places." I have to use the search function. Windows 7 can be weird to me.
