 Here is my new baby
The local police confiscated from his owners, this ratty looking, matted and filthy, loaded with fleas and ticks little yorkie, underfed totally neglected. I adopted him from the Humane Society, more because I didn't think anyone else would take him and I didn't want him to be euthanized.
The first picture I am attaching is how he looked when I first took him in; the second one is after he went to the groomer, got de-fleaed and de-ticked. In the last 3 months, he has gone from 3 pounds to 6 pounds. He is scheduled to be neutered later this month (the Humane Society always neuters before allowing adoption, but he was so skinny they were afraid to do surgery until he gained some weight.) |
