Itchy, our 4mo old, started scratching at his right ear a day and a half ago. Upon inspecting the ear, I saw nothing at all. It is very clean, no appearance of mites or stray hairs. Itchy's scratching has gotten more frequent and become almost like digging in his ear and the ear will turn sometimes from the itching. He has not broken the skin inside or outside the ear.
This scratching started when it was raining outside, so there is a possibility a drop of rain dripped inside the ear...I am just guessing though.
Can anyone suggest a remedy that they know is not harmful?
