I agree with using Nordic Naturals (based on reviews here) or the one we use, Animal Essentials. Some fish oils are better than others.
It is a nominal amount of added fat, but if you take into account your dogs' entire diet, it shouldn't be a problem. My boys get very few treats, so the fish oil I consider one of their treats.
Cathy has pointed out that it can be difficult to determine the amount required for each dog to be therapeutic.
