On my way out the door to work. Just wanted to post the latest update from my sister...

Today's word: "patience"...that's the summary of our evaluation and plan. Now we be patient. Infection is still present but she is no longer in septic shock. Vitals are stable and vent settings are being "tweeked". Lowering the sedating medications so she will wake up and get strong! It is time now to let her own body heal itself as much as it can. Now, for our homework: pray that she tolerates being off sedation. She is having some pain (from the surgeries and procedures from this week). She also is HIGHLY uncomfortable from the considerable swelling and soreness. Pray for God's grace as she pushes through. And pray for patience. MY hope is that tomorrow's update will contain a photo (one that she has given sober consent to post lol) so all may see her beautiful smiling face
In His time! ~~even if... ♥ "
Now, the hard part begins for Jada. She's been asleep/sedated for a week - she HAS to wake up and she's going to fight that trach and vent. Pray hard still, everyone. Thank you all!! Love you, my YT Family!!
