I am not sure what to tell you...how to keep the squeakers from soaking up water. I don't have any issue with water-logged squeakers, but I have a front loader, so very little water is in the drum...maybe that helps since the toys don't stay submerged and/or get pulled to the bottom all the time by an agitator. Then the washer spins at 1,200 rpm, and toys never need drying at all...fiberfill doesn't hold much water after that nor does the toy fabric.

Maybe some really knowledgeable members will chime in with great suggestions for you.
