There's states that have laws that limit the amount of dogs that people can have. PA maybe? How can I help to make my state enforce a law like that? Ohio is high with working puppy mills and BYB, but we don't have laws to get rid of them. I would love to do more than tell my friends to NOT buy those pet store pups, and to report if I think I've seen a puppy mill in person.
Seriously, there has to be something we can do to get better laws in our states! If someone knows what I can do, or we can do as a group, discuss it here. I'm so sad for all the ones still suffering
Because the laws in each of our states etc., vary so much, the best thing you can do is to contact your local ASPCA...SPCA....or Humane Society and offer to help with this and they can guide you.
