If you are feeding a complete and balanced diet (i.e. kibble is balanced), and your dog is healthy, you don't really need to add any vitamins or supplements.
I do give my boys fish oil and it has helped improve the dryness of their coats. They were drying out from being windblown I think. We also use a little coconut oil after brushing teeth because it is anti-bacterial. If nothing else, my boys enjoy these the fish oil and coconut oil as yummy little treats. Some will say that the added fat in their diet isn't necessary, but I take into consideration that my guys get few treats.
