 Bella gets a bridle...
I spoke with my partner on the phone a few minutes ago and he had an incident with Bella to report. It seems that Bella had managed to pull her collar partially over her head so it fit in her mouth like a horse's bridle. He noticed it when Bella let out a shriek and started galloping around the living room, screaming like a banshee. He managed to get the collar off Bella, and I'm happy to report that Bella recovered quickly from her trauma.
How this happened is that my partner was concerned about Bella's collar being too tight, so after Bella's bath yesterday, he put the collar back on, but loosened by one notch. Needless to say, Bella's collar will be going back on the way it was before, with room for two fingers to fit between the neck and collar.
Had my partner not been there when this happened, who knows whether Bella could have choked, or gotten sick from panic. This is just a reminder for Yorkie owners to check the fit of their collars... |
