I am happy to report the latest status update from about midnight last night from my sister:

Ok, just so I am not held responsible for any sleepless nights...AND because I my head is spinning in the clouds...here's the update: All smiles on THIS momma's face as I just left a young lady who posting the best numbers I have seen in months, if not years! Now, keep in mind that she IS on a ventilator so she is not at all doing this on her own, but, by goodness, it sure is amazing to see her " ...breathe" without struggling! And the most elating thing that happened, the thing that caught me SO off guard...wait for it...she actually "woke up" for a short time, mouthed "Momma" and "I love you", grinned that goofy Jadabug grin, and hugged me so tight she took my breath!! (There is a long, super-fun story that goes with this. Remind me to share it one day...or ask Momma C or Cornbread) What an incredible girl. ~~even if... " <3
