My Ozzy, 2 years old is getting tested for liver shunt. I won't know the results for a few hours. He had 8 seizures yesterday. He was diagnosed with epilepsy in December and has been on phenobarbital since. All his follow up blood work has been normal. His behavior has been different and his seizures more frequent. Poor guy, he's not his usual pain in the ass,I miss that..my vet is excellent. After witnessing what she saw yesterday,she hopes its a liver shunt problem.. He's always been an organic dog food eater, plenty of exercise and healthy besides his epilepsy. My heart tells me his seizures are caused by maybe a malfunctioning liver?
