That tip really comes in handy. In the 6 years I have had Peanut I have used that trick many many times!! It is a great tool when they are sick and you can inform your vet from the results of your handy dandy test at home! You can also look at their gums. If they are pale/ white that is another red flag. If they are pale it could be a sign of dehydration.

We always want to see pink gums!!
