Good luck, I hope you find that your pup's problem is not serious. I'll be anxious to hear what the vet finds. Good luck and welcome to YT!
This is what I'm doing now. The first few days, I measured the food to be sure she was eating enough, but now that I know Bella loves her food and doesn't have any problems with it, I pretty much free-feed her and let her eat the amount she wants to.

Since Pauline has two puppies, I'd recommend watching their eating habits for a few days, just to be sure that one is not being a bully and preventing the other from eating. Even though I have only one puppy, I can tell that Bella used to have food issues at the breeder's before I got her because she will pick up one kibble, run to a safe part of the house to eat it, and then run back to the food bowl to grab another kibble. She probably had to compete for food with a bully, and that habit carried over, even though she no longer has any competition for her food.
