I put her in the pee side every two hours saying go pee pee get a treat! I also made sure she new when she went in the wrong place. I changed my tone, said a strong "no no bad pee pee", even if I didn't catch her. I picked her up and pointed at it. I also let her watch me clean it up.
She now runs to her crate to pee or poop in her potty side. She sleeps in a large crate in my daughters room with a bed and pee pad. Sometimes she holds it until we bring her downstairs and sometimes she doesn't but she always goes on the pad. Now if I could just stop her from running through her poo in her crate if Im not home that would be great... |
Well that's good! I'm hoping as she matures, she'll understand me as well. I overly praise too, give treats, & let her watch me clean up. Almost every day I'm putting a nice smelling clean bed in her crate & I know she knows its clean..but then she pees or poos on it..ugh! I'm just going to keep it up and keep my fingers crossed. I'm right there w/u, I hate when she tracks poo all over the crate!

it's the worst. And now she's started shredding her pee pads up completely..she's very destructive.
