I really like the look of a collar on my doggy clothes. So it took me a while to finally figure out the correct size and shape but I ran into a problem figuring out how to attack it to my dress. Im sure I learned this somewhere all those years ago but for the life of me I can not remember how to do it.

This is what I did:

1. I attacked the collar to the dress first.
2. I do the sew and flip leaving the neck open to flip.
3. I turn and pin, sewed the neck closed under the collar.

It looked ok for the most part, I can live with it. But it got all jumbled and had some loose material.

What did I do wrong, is there a better way and if so please do tell !
