For all you newer folks, welcome to the world of an online forum where people can express their opinions. Like I said to the OP, use what you can and leave the rest behind.
You all have no idea what I am thinking or how I intend for things to come across...just let me tell you this: It takes a LOT of restraint for me to be polite to people who are obviously going to let a pup die while trying to make us sound like bad guys because we don't call them "good mommies" and say "you are doing all you can" when it is perfectly clear they are not. Yes, I am very direct and I make NO apologies for it. I don't believe in enabling. Period! |

Sorry if that offends anyone. Use what you want and filter the rest out. And it would be a wonderful thing if members on here did not eat their own....if YOU dont like the TONE in another posters suggestion, you go in and make it YOUR job to soften it up and YOU do the enabling because many of us wont. But dont chastise the member, trying to make it look like the straight forward poster is horrible and cruel and rude and offensive. If you think the member poster was horrific, rather than attack that member (which in itself is passive aggressive behavior, aimed at stirring up discord, probably to make yourself look "kinder and gentler and more understanding....a better person"), report it....if it is solid, sound, accurate advice that is given straight forward and without embellishment, rudeness, crudeness, or insult, then it will stand.) The dogs and their welfare come first. There was nothing rude or impolite said to that poster.... he just did not like being told to surrender his dogs for their own welfare, and members dove in and stirred the pot by calling down other members. Report posts you think do not follow the guidlines, but dont call down another member's method of stating options and facts. We all express ourselves differently, and that is just the way it is.
Concentrate on what the problem is that the poster has submitted, and not on harrassing and insulting another members response to that poster. YOU respond to the poster anyway you choose, but dont attack another members response!
