W/in minutes of the OP posting for help, My Sophia, chattiesmom & Nancy1999 suggested giving the pup some karo or nutrical & to take the pup to a vet...in 30mins, he replied w/no update on the puppy,
what did he do during that time??? Then he says this: 'Trying to find a way to help with what I can afford.' Then he's logged off for 6.5 hrs, comes back & still ignores all the good advice w/out even a Thank you &
still no update on the puppy! Then there's the select few group of people that can only focus on how bad he was treated, when the focus should be on the pup! Who are you to tell anyone else how to post or how to say things, all the while calling them names. Everyone is different & will do things their way, some people will be overly emotional, some will be calm & give honest opinions...
This is how it always plays out, new comer posts something in dire need (usually an emergency situation
), poster #1 responds w/an option, then poster #2 gives a direct option in another view, poster #3 takes offense to poster #2, OP returns & pretty much attacks everyone that tried to help him/her! I found nothing wrong w/ magicgenie's post, what TONE? She even sympathized w/the OP saying that she also went through hard times...she didn't have to share that! Linda was nothing but helpful & showed genuine concern for this pup. She's helped & still helping sick pups while battling cancer herself. NOBODY told him to give up his dogs! The option was there if he needed it, why slap the hand that reached out to help? Rescues don't TAKE the pups away, the pups are SURRENDERED by their owner(s), the OP has a choice.
I am taking it that the pups are eating solid food by now, but since this pup wasn't doing so good from birth, the OP was giving the pup time alone w/momma to nurse. We don't know if it was hypoglycemia or if the pup has some other issues related to being a preemie or for being in the womb for too long, God knows what...this puppy needs vet care. Vet care that the OP can't afford, that's why he came looking for help in an online forum. Being nice or giving advice from little what we know about the situation will not save this puppy...
