Good Luck |
I've been having HORRIBLE luck trying to crate train my new puppy. I had a pomeranian for over 15 years and we crate trained him and he was very easy to crate train. He loved his crate, it was his den, his bed, the place he loved to go.
With my new puppy, he seems like he hates the crate. He will pee in the crate every time we put him in it. Even if he has recently pee'd. No matter what, he cries and cries when he is in the crate. Like I said, I've had experience crate training my pom, so I know how to crate train. There is something about this pup that this is going to be very difficult to do. It makes me think he was kept in a crate all day, even tho he's not a puppy mill puppy. But he must have been kept in a crate all day while his breeder was at work and he thinks he's suppose to void in the crate.
I'm so frustrated. I have a lot of faith in this crate training, but I'm wondering maybe it's not for him.
