Well, Saturday mail delivery is "safe" for now
Postal Service backs off plan to stop Saturday delivery - Apr. 10, 2013. I would much rather see 5 day delivery and no price hikes. IF JUNK mail was charged regular postage rates, think of the $$ the post office would make.
I don't receive any "junk" from UPS, FEDEX, or any other private delivery service.
I know I'm not a rocket scientist, but if UPS and FEDEX are private carriers and they are profitable, then maybe, just maybe the postal service letter delivery should be privatized OR they should charge all customers equally.
