I have the file, the noise freaks her out. When she is relaxed and getting petted I even try to touch her feet more. Unfortunately, I think she just may take time to come around.
I have had her since 8 weeks, so no one has hurt her before, she was never abused. She seems fine now and wants to be petted and cuddled.
I know I did not get the quick, she is not bleeding and the howling was not with any specific nail. I think she just doesn't like being out of control.
