You need a tick tag too.
I always associated ticks with the woods, but they are everywhere. We pick them up in the grass.
I've talked to people who are big time campers and boating lovers about ticks, and I got the impression that all you can do is check your body each day for the little critters.
Lyme is rare in Virginia, if that helps.
