Bumping this thread back up because I saw this article today:
Postal Service considers price hikes - May. 10, 2013 Seriously...why on earth would Congress stop an action that would benefit nearly everyone? I really don't understand why they would do this.
I personally feel that Congress should butt out. I've said for years that USPS should go to a 3 day a week delivery system. I know that would entail some job cuts but at the same time I've noticed my local PO has recently expanded their workforce.
