I hope you read the hypoglycemia link, low blood sugar can cause a glazed look to the eyes. If they go too long without eating, blood sugar drops so low that they no longer have an appetite, so the Karo syrup which is actually corn syrup is placed on their gums or roof of their mouths and within 20 minutes you can usually give them some protein which will keep their blood sugar up longer. At that age, I don't think they are nursing, and it's up to the breeder to give them food. I've read that many mix kibble with water, have you tried this yet?
