Had one that size last spring climbing a tree to reach a robin's nest. The birds were on the roof of my shed pitching a fit. I went to see what all the noise was about, then grabbed a rake and got the snake down. Sadly a storm hit the following week and I found 2 baby birds dead on the ground.  |
Poor robin birdies.
Seems like every spring we find a few in our yard and it makes me sad.
