LOL, I can't believe you found an actual link to something confirming it is thrushes.
Rats scare me to death. I have encountered big ones walking around on the sidewalks of DC and Chicago.
Although the black snakes here are harmless, they still make me jump. I was picking up sticks in one of our stand of trees in the yard once when one of the big sticks started slithering. Of course, I screamed and ran like an idiot.
