I cannot imagine the thirst and hunger and loneliness - freezing cold - that little puppy endured. Nancy is right - we need some laws to require a thorough search of these cars and charge the owner and the impound yard owner if any dog or cat is ever found there once a law is in place. And they should charge that car-owner now unless there is some way that dog could have gotten in there on his own through some hole made for smuggling drugs or rusted hole in the hull - and then it's still his fault if he knew of the opening. I didn't get that they even questioned the car owner to see what he said. Of course he would say it wasn't his dog and he never saw it before but still, seems like they'd try. That poor little thing - it must have gotten so cold during all the cold weather!!! Makes me sick to think of his suffering.
