I know very well what it is like to have an adopted Puppymill Rescue. My very 1st Rescue I adopted was a mill rescue. Audrey was 8 years old when we adopted her in 1999.

The stories I could tell about her first 6 months with us would just break your heart.

I was so lucky to have her for 4 wonderful years, before I had to help her to the Rainbow Bridge. Her poor body had finally given out from all the abuse she suffered for 8 years in a cage producing puppies and more puppies.

My Audrey had such grace, poise and dignity. I still miss her so much to this day. She passed in Sept. 2003.

Here is a picture of her a few day's before she passed away.
you can tell by the look in eye's the shine was no longer there. She was in pain, but still loved to go get in the flower bed.
