She ended her heat cycle in the first week of April. I had noticed the neighbors dog hanging around a lot when she was in heat, I chased him off when ever I found him in my back yard, but I am afraid he might have gotten to my girl. While she has always been a mommas girl, she has gotten especially clingy lately, hides under the bed often (she has never done this), her nipples are poking out like crazy, and she is just different. I have an appointment next week for a blood test, but I hear these can be inconclusive. I am not sure if she is pregnant or in a false pregnancy. Is there any way to tell the difference and could a blood test tell the difference? Sorry for rambling so much lol | It is still possible she is having a false pregnancy. With a false pregnancy she would get enlarged nipples and her personality would change. But since you say her belly is getting bigger there is a very likely hood that she is pregnant. Hopefully the vet will be able to tell one way or the other.
