Thanks again... the advice is very helpful! But what to do you mean by an older dog? I realize a puppy who's just a couple of weeks old is way too young to leave alone.... but what about a dog whose 9 months or older? Would that be okay? Perhaps I'm just being selfish for wanting a dog so badly
