I would take her to the vet immediately if she has been pushing hard and no puppy can be felt. To tell if the puppy is making progress coming out you feel below her tail when she is pushing and if the puppy has presented itself you will feel a hard lump above the vulva. Sometimes it can take an hour to work the puppy out. Sometimes a green discharge before the first pup is born can be an indication of trouble, not always but sometimes.
