I hear intense barking... went to look .. the yorkies had a turtle as big as they are cornered on a fence post.  Poor turtle was trying to get away... they were barking like they were going to kill. oh my 
I managed to lift a section of the fence near the turtle that is wire.. that turtle ran down the slope and was in the water in the blink of an eye 
Of course Remy runs to that spot each time I let her out... trying to see if she can get out of the fence. sigh |
If it's a snapping turtle as big as the dogs, then it's the dogs who were in danger--if it got a hold of one of them, it could have snapped a leg like a twig. Glad the turtle moved on!
