Love Help :( collapsed trachea?

Hey everyone! So my little Miley (3 1/2 yrs/4.8 pounds) went in for a dental cleaning today & shortly after I dropped my little girl off, I got a call from my vet saying they refused to operate on her or give her anesthesia for the fear of her not waking back up because she has abnormal breathing. I've always been aware of her snorting and coughing and honking noises but when I addressed it to the vets previously, they acted as if nothing was wrong. After doing research it sounds like my little one has a Collapsed Trachea. She has an apt for X-rays Friday but just thinking about her being diagnosed with this makes my heart ache. She is my little girl, don't know what I would do without her. Miley was also diagnosed with epilepsy about a month ago. She was purchased from a pet store & probably from a puppy mill. If anyone has any positive info they can provide I would appreciate it so much. Also she sounds constantly congested. Please keep Miley bear in your prayers for me.
