Hi! My Mia had démodex when I brought her home at 12 weeks old, we did the medicated shampoo weekly and my vet also gave us Ivermectin drops that she took daily! Her scratching got less and less with Each day after starting treatment. Within 2 weeks her skin test came back negative! It did take probably a month before her hair started to fill in and look healthy. I also switched her food to a lamb kibble, the breeder had her on purina puppy chow, and I wanted to be certain her intensive scratching wasn't in part from allergies.
