Princess Sophie has begun tearing her pads up a bit now too. It sounds like it might be separation anxiety.

Do you have an x-pen for her to stay in when you and your DH are not home? If not you might want to invest in one. I have seen many and they are recommended by a lot of people here on YT. We just have a playpen for Princess Sophie an it holds her crate (where she can lay down and sleep), food and water, as well as potty pads. It works for us but some people like to use the pen that has one side for them to lay down on and play and another side where the pee pad is located. This may not solve your problem of your baby "shredding" the pee pads but it will keep her from having too much room to run if not yet ready for that much freedom.

We also have been tethering Princess Sophie when we are home so we always know what she's doing and where she's at. No accidents this way.

Let us know what you decide to do and good luck!! These little stinkers can be stubborn till they know who's the boss!
