My male yorkie has never been able to jump up on the couch or bed, though sometimes he will jump off the couch but never the bed. He has stairs to get up on the couch and to get down from the couch - he uses them 99 percent of the time.
Now my female, she will jump on the couch and jump off at will.
I think it's just the individual dog, but I too thinks its better for them to use steps. |
