Grey gums, sticky to the touch, are an emergency situation. These little ones can go down fast. I would get in touch with your vet's office to avoid a possibly expensive trip to the ER after hours.
I would also assess what is in the yard. Do you have poisonous plants? We have to watch for mushrooms too.
