The vet gave her antibiotic for the congestion on her chest and not the kennel cough though. She only coughs most at night but she's really congested though. The vet told me to give her some children Benadryl for the cough. Does it work? I would think a cough syrup would be more ideal. Some people use Robitussin DM, does it work? Is it safe?
