Anyone have an experience with thyroid or cushing's disease? I have a friend whose vet diagnosed thyroid disease and her Yorkie has been on meds for six years. Then my friend got a second opinion and this new vet diagnosed Cushing's disease and took her Yorkie off all thyroid meds. Anyone know what could be happening here? My friend is definitely upset with her vet of eight years, the one who diagnosed the thyroid problem. I don't know what to say to her Thanks for any advice or suggestions anyone can make. This is definitely confusing but I don't want her Yorkie to suffer.[/B]
