I was only responding to the OP's post in that she didn't sound “friendly”. I’m not endorsing this breeder; I don't think it necessarily a good thing if a breeder is a good salesman and is super friendly at first. It’s more important that they are friendly over time. Joey’s breeder seemed cautious at first, but after 7 years of knowing her, I believe she’s very friendly. The OP was the one who said that the breeder says that doesn't ship, although I just checked the website and she does ship now. I don't think this necessarily makes a person a bad breeder, but I would hope all pet owners could find a breeder who they could visit in person. I totally agree that if she sells at 8 weeks, I would look elsewhere; this would be a deal changer to me.
