 Seperation anxiety??
I currently work as a floor nurse and work 3 twelve hr shifts a week, I will be starting a new job in a month that I will be working 5 days a week 8 hr days! My DH works 8 hrs so the days that I work he tends to Mia when he gets off. My problem is... When I'm off and at home with Mia all day, she's wonderful, she faithfully uses her pee pads, but the days that I work she stays in her Xpen with plenty off toys, but shreds her pee pad! And when he lets her out after he gets home from work she pees and poops anywhere in the house!! I feel as though its seperation anxiety! She's only 6 mths old and I don't feel as though its safe to let her have run of the house while we're at work! I'm just looking for advice as to how to prepare her for my new work schedule! Or maybe is she old enough to leave her out all day while we're gone?? When I get home I spend a lot of time loving on her and playing with her! Do y'all think its truly seperation anxiety or maybe just lack of exercise on those days?? Thanks in advance!! |
