I am so sorry for your loss, and can only imagine how devastating that must have been
Other dogs attack out yorkies and we can't imagine it happening, it happens so fast. 2 dogs off leash attacked Teddy this winter and I never imagined it happening. They were small enough that I was able to kick them away from him. It's more than ok to get another baby, of course it is not the same, but you have love in your heart to give.
