You are so generous in taking over the care for little Bailey. You have already been given some great info about dry itchy skin. I hope you find a solution. Possible allergies to food, fleas/parasites, lack of humidity, etc could be the problem?? I've read that Linatone, a food supplement with fatty acids can aid in dry skin also. (I've used a tad of olive oil mixed with the kibble before also to help w/ dry skin)

It also is very important to make sure all the shampoo is rinsed out. Any shampoo residue left on the skin and coat can cause problems. You might wanna check with your vet as to how often he feels bathing Bailey is best. Some Yorkies can handle more often bathing then others.
