i use patterns and you can resize them for a perfect fit on a copier. i personally find when making multiple outfits you just get an overall consistency with patterns but if your making it for one baby only you can wing it for sure or create your own. i always do and you just tape mutiple pieces of paper together and draw and cut then try sizing it around your baby to see how the fit is. i suppose you could use fabric glue but it would be alot easier imo to have a sewing machine. miss daisy designs has some cute boy patterns. good luck.
