He's been eating Royal Canin Yorkie puppy formula for about a month. Last week I picked up a couple of cans of the RC canned puppy. He LOVES the stuff! He gets 1/3 can of the wet in the morning and 1/4 cup dry free fed, although he usually doesn't eat again until around 9pm. He's eating ALL of his food and I'm not having to worry about him not getting enough or throwing any out.
I'm wondering if it is a little rich for his system and he's going through an adjustment. This morning I only gave him 1/4 can, and I will give him some plain Greek yogurt as his treat tonight.
I've also caught him gnawing at his back feet. This makes me think just maybe he's having an allergic reaction. He's a few days overdue for a bath, so that could have something to do with it too. It'll be just my luck that the one food he loves will be the one he can't eat. grrrrr!
