Default Question about weight?

Have read and read about quality/health of Yorkies. I have a 7 pound older Yorkie and am looking to get another. I have spoken to several breeders, some good reputations.... many bad! Darn puppy mills !!!! Anyway, I would really like to know if a 3 - 3 1/2 pound (full grown) is a healthy dog and will be in the future; if well taken care of by the owner? There is a very good breeder and AKC show dog owner that had one very small Yorkie in a litter... she says is too small for her breeding/show purposes. I am really not sure what to think?? Would really like anyone's opinions and experiences. I have been looking for a small Yorkie, but that small just scares me with regards to health? Thank You all.
