Yes, it is so sad for the dog. Also, I always wonder though what kind of life many of them have if someone won't spend the $30 to vax & register their dog? Are they treating with flea medication, getting anals expressed, giving heartworm or any de-worming? Is the poor dog wracked with fleas, covered in hotspots and scooting all over the yard? If sick or lame, does he get any vetting? It's as if the dog is an after-thought with some people and rules for someone else when it comes to dogs.
