I don't know enough about giardia either. If it can only be contracted from contact with infected fecal matter, then she CAN'T have it. There's no way. She's not ever with other dogs, she is rarely outside (we still had snow last week, and she was out this weekend but we had cleaned up all the poop from the other dogs first and they are not infected)
Plus, if it was giardia, would it not be getting worse? She did have bloody diarrhea one day. But since then, she has had solid poops with no blood at all. It almost seems like it was just something irritating her digestive system, maybe something she ate, but it got better right away.
It just doesn't seem to add up to me. I don't know what to do.
