Okay so the vet just called and said they looked at her smear again and there are cysts that could mean giardia and even though the giardia test came up negative, she wants to treat her for giardia anyway. Does this sound normal? She also said I could treat the other dogs even though they have no symptoms. She said Layla might just be a carrier and isn't showing symptoms anymore but she could still have it. She has seen enough dogs with giardia lately that she wants to treat it before it gets worse. I just don't know what to do!
