There are not set rules to adopting another dog. It all depends on you. Are "you" ready! Do "you" have the time, patience and most of all the finance. They can be very expensive. The other dog/dogs will get use to a new dog. No set time there either because it's at their own pace.
Just think it through very carefully before you adopt.
