Unlove My first post. In time of need.

Hi, I have been a member since 2008 and this is my first post. It took me a while but I really need to "talk" and need some Yorkie friends.
Last Friday my beloved LouLou was mauled at my feet by a Saint Bernard. She died from internal injuries and I'm just devastated beyond words. She was my ESA and my best friend who got me and my family though tough emotional times with her endearing personality and loving ways. She was not physically perfect by any means - many potential parents passed her up due to her imperfect bite. She found her home with us when she was 8 months old and that is her picture in my profile. As far as I was concerned, I won the doggy lottery and she was spectacular.
My husband is adamant that we need another dog soon. It wont diminish my love for my LouLou but it will fill an empty hole in my heart and on my husbands pillow where LouLou used to sleep. I have had a Yorkie since since I was 7 years old (now I'm 52!) and can't think of home as complete without one of these lovely little dogs. As soon as I can get my head above water and stop crying, I'm going to start looking. I'm old enough to know that one just needs to get on with it.
Thank you for listening and being Yorkie lovers, too.
